Corsa Axel back + Roush X Pipe

So I cheaped out a bit and only bought the Corsa axel back, as I already have the Roush (cut and clamp) X pipe... before the Corsa arrives, I've been watching the intal videos of the catback install and I'm wondering if the Roush is too short for the Corsa. Does anyone have any prior experience or first hand knowledge of this setup. Will it fit?

They won't meet up, but you can retain the stock 2.5" midpipe section in between them.

Yeah...called Corsa and American Muscle... im just gonna have to bite the Bullitt and pay more for the Corsa X pipe...

You don't have to. There's just going to be about 2 feet of oem pipe in between where they join. Unless you have an aversion to cutting, you can install it with your current X pipe. That said, the double X does sound better...

I just wanna keep the install clean and do it myself at home. I'll opt for the lesson learned and wait for the double helix x pipe.
