The idea of putting a resonator back in after removing the stock resonator seems silly to me... What type of resonator is recommended? Wouldn't it reduce the sound quality just like the stock resonator?
No, I meant adding straight through ones like Vibrant or Dynomax. They'll tone down the volume and eliminate some rasp (which is the negative, if you like the rasp).

Ah I see. I haven't had a chance to WOT yet but up to 6000 rpm I haven't heard anything I would consider rasp that I hear in the videos. Had my girlfriend in the car and she hasn't complain. I will just wait it and and hopefully get used to it.
