Already started. So far it's going to come in under $500 including the new BG trans fluid from optimum performance.

30 row plate cooler, and a pump rated for continuous duty.
Sweet! What parts are you using!

This still doesn't solve the issue with Ford and Ford Performance.
I've owned several new Fords in my adult life. If Ford leaves this problem to me to fix on my own with no support from them. I will never buy a new ford product again in my life.

I alternate new cars between me a my wife and I also have 3 kids coming to driving age. That a lot of cars that will need to be bought in the next few years.

What are you planning for brackets and power?

Thanks.
The cooler is a B&M SuperCooler and came with brackets and lines. I'll write up more when parts start going in. I'm trying to document it reasonably well.

So who is the manufacturer of the parts you are using? What do you think of warranty issues?
Ford would have to prove that the cooler is the direct cause of whatever the issue is. I spoke to others who have added the coolers and have nothing but good things to say. It's a relatively harmless mod focused on making the car better and not faster.

Same answer, I'll make a thread like the others have when I'm complete. Should be a week or 2.

Ummm still waiting to hear back from my PM to you Optimum Performance

Or sometimes you shouldn't buy a car until it gets beyond beta.....
Well I bought the tech pack. Sure, I put down the deposit 6 months before the owners supplement was released, and I did think it would be fine for the track. Maybe I got duped. Oh well, I have a track weekend coming up and out of time to wait. Limp mode is embarrassing and dangerous to others on the track. At the end of the day it's my responsibility to make sure my car is fit for duty. I am disappointed that I've had the car since December and Ford still has nothing on this, but.....it is what it is.

Too late for me. If ford releases packages that are significantly better it will be easy to uninstall.

I'm interested.

Especially if Ford doesn't replace my transmission. Car came new with a defective trans so I'm working on getting it replaced with a new one, preferably one with a trans cooler.
What was the issue with your transmission? I'm worried about mind not going smoothly into first or reverse. It feels like synchro issues at 400 miles.

I'm glad you are doing this. Gives us a working option if FP doesn't end doing anything, or if they do we still have choices.

Grinds going into 6th. Same thing, bad synchros or bent shift fork. Still going rounds with Ford. The FORD CUSTOMER CARE TEAM really doesn't care. Wait, that was to nice! They DON'T give a shit about the customer, only getting it fixed the cheapest way possible and they only do that because they have to. Let me know what you find out about your trans.

I love mustangs but I agree. If they leave us hanging, I'm done with them also.
