It's not where the heat comes from; it's where it goes. On a track, it has less time to go anywhere.

If I recall, you said you are a computer guy and not a car guy, correct? I am not being facetious when I say that I will put you and any other GT350 owner up if you want to come over and experience the Autobahn and some of the best tracks in the world--Spa, NĂĽrburgring, Hockenheim...along with the Black Forrest and Alps. Under those conditions, you will know exactly what a cars capabilities and limitations are, along with that of the driver.
Ive been a car guy since birth built engines, swaps, added coolers, intercoolers, etc(im a shitty engine builder though)

At max speed there is no where for the heat to go(if you dont have radiators), on the track you spend a lot time not at WOT during that time things cool off.

Math is math heat is heat sorry. You have heat generated and the ability and time it takes to dissipate it.

I have family in Germany just no car there.. I do envy you though I was going to do a Euro delivery on a M2 but obviously that did happen

Load in 5th or 6th gear is much different than load in 3rd or 4th gear...while braking and accelerating. Think inertia.
Think wind resistance at 160mph.

You know how trucks get tranny coolers if you tow alot? that not because of acceleration its because of weight.

So if I worked with a third party to package a quality solution would anyone be interested or does it have to be Ford Performance? It sound like the only "warrantied" solution will be a Track Pack transmission swap and differential cooler install. Quite frankly they're dragging this out too long.

Track season is going to be done here in about 2ish months. I'm going to wait until spring next year to fix this issue. If FP doesn't have a suitable solution by then, I'm definitely going third party.

We are currently working on an auto trans cooler for GTs, but we will certainly look into a trans cooler option for the GT350. Is there anyone on the forum that is local with a GT350? If we have a development vehicle lined up it certainly speeds up the process.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Anyone with a BASE/TECH GT350 near Delaware that is willing to work with Mishimoto on a transmission cooler for the GT350?

Help us Mishimoto you are our only hope.

I'm interested.

Especially if Ford doesn't replace my transmission. Car came new with a defective trans so I'm working on getting it replaced with a new one, preferably one with a trans cooler.

You started this thread by saying a solution was about to drop any day. Now you are asking if anyone is interested in getting a third party fix. Sounds like you have given up on Ford Performance. We are going into September with still no official word from FP. Has anyone talked to FP recently? Soon the time will come when we will have to take hard action. Personally I will not watch a limp mode fix from Ford slowly disappear because we all get tired of waiting for such a long time. Perhaps that is what they are trying to do.

Already started. So far it's going to come in under $500 including the new BG trans fluid from optimum performance.

30 row plate cooler, and a pump rated for continuous duty.

So who is the manufacturer of the parts you are using? What do you think of warranty issues?

Well I would imagine that it will be a fight for any warranty work on the transmission.
