So, went to TruFiber here in Riverside, CA to get my rear spoiler, and the Cal Pony Cars guys are in the same building. They came out and offered me some parts and to test fit some others. This is what they have so far.

The first things are the splash shields. I really like these. They were cool because they actually asked my opinion, and we all agreed on these. They had a smaller offering, but these come up and follow the same height and lines as the ones that come on the rear wheel wells stock. They utilize the existing holes in the fender well and 3m tape so that no drilling is necessary. I have noticed a huge difference immediately in the amount of road grime and dirt that gets kicked up on the side of the doors. So much better now. They cover up the hole at the side skirts, but not the holes at the back of the fender well. Here are the pics of them. The kit for the current mustang is $80 for the front and rears, so I'm sure this kit will come in less since it will be just the fronts once they get them made. I recommend this for everyone, as it protects and looks totally stock, which was what I wanted.

The second product is the engine dress up. I realize this isn't for everyone. But they look good to me, so we don't have the bright coolant and brake reservoirs sticking out. They offer both a plain black and the CF hydrodipped parts. I chose the CF, and compared them against by front splitter and rear spoiler which are real CF and its actually really good. They put the clear coat over the dipped parts which give them a good depth. Here are the pics. It is a cover for the brake and coolant, and a replacement for the fuse box.

I'll take some more pics when I get the JLT CAI and tuner and mid pipes in. Ordered the power pack from Lethal.

They will also be coming out with a hood lift kit that utilizes a mounting option so that there is no need to drill into the battery cover or anything else. Hopefully they should have that in the next week or two, and I'll put up some pics of that as well.

not a fan of the splash guards. looks like they belong on a AWD subaru

Underhood stuff is a nice option though

Did you ever post pictures of the front splitter and rear spoiler? interested to see if those look good or not.

Keep up the modding though. cool to have vendors in your area that you can test out parts with

So the underhood bits are from CJ or Trufiber? Is pricing out on the underhood bits?

The wing is way too big and it has an additional lip wing on the wing also?? Hydrodipped carbon looks cheap since u can tell its fake just looking at the carbon weaves.

I like the splash guards.

That's your opinion, and that's fine. The wing has a gourney flap, and it's there to carry the body line better. If they were to have carried the body lines all the way over, the wing would be far higher. The gourney is a way to tie it in and make it lower. It is real carbon.

I agree on the hydrodip typically, but they do a good job on theirs. Still looks better to me than just all plain black plastic. Breaks up the monotony.

Do you have any better images as to how the front mud guards look installed? I was looking at these on their site, but there no forward or front image showing how they look if standing in front of the front tire looking at the guard as it sits behind the front tire...

For instance, how does the upward or top portion of the guard secure to the fender when all I see are (3) holes to attach the lower part using the factory push pins?

Thanks in advance for any additional insight.

The top is secured with 3M tape. But it isn't visible and has stayed on mine perfectly fine. I love these things. I'm out of state until Friday, but can take pics when I return. If you go to the project6g wheels thread, look at the most recent pics that need4speed posted of a race red 350. That is mine, and they are some high quality images that may show what you're asking.

Love the hydro dip carbon look. Looks way better than "coolant pink" lol

How do you think their hydro dip carbon will look compared to the hydro dipped JLT intake and coil covers?
