Leaning to buying a 2017 GT PP , maybe tomorrow .

OK, 90% sure I want a PP , since I will do 2-5 track days a year , plus I like the Brembo calipers , cause race car.

Should I even consider a non PP ?

Few questions ...

WTF is "Unique Stability Control" ?

I drive a bit under 9000 miles a year , live in Northern VA . Don't have to drive in the snow ever, but sometimes it gets cold here maybe 2 months out of the year. Should I be sweating the "summer" tires as much as I am ?

I still plan on getting a second set of wheels for the track , maybe toss all seasons on one set.

Our other car is an Explorer in case I ever "needed" to get somewhere.

PP and be done with it. The larger radiator, Brembos, and Torsen alone are great.

The PP is worth it. If not just for the brakes, larger radiator, and suspension differences. To me, the non PP was way too boat like.

The summer P zeros are ok in the warm weather. I plan on putting all seasons on my PP wheels, and then getting MUCH lighter wheels for track days, probably wearing Michelin PSS shoes or moving the P-Zeros over.

PP is a no-brainer if you must have manual.

If a Mustang only has 2 pedals , is it still a Mustang ? :D

For the record my first Mustang was an auto .

Go PP, unless on a ridiculously specific budget, or plan on upgrading most or all PP components.

Seems like a good fit for you because: Race car

Torsen and the brakes are totally worth it if you're going to spend any time on the track near the limits. The radiator, stiffer suspension, and underbody aero are also nice.

Mustang requires a V8 not necessarily manual. :)

Going through the linked thread I still don't really see an answer to :

What is this unique tuning/abs/steering that Ford mentions

Yes the PP is worth what you get in terms of value. Which what it seems most of the threads are about.

PP if you gotta, dont if you dont.

As for the Mustang, PP is the only option I have and I enjoy it very very very very much. You could mod a non PP and have it up to PP snuff (which is what I woulda done if push came to shove) but if you can go PP, let her rip!!!
