I had a 15 non pp. and I have an 18 non pp. drove both pp and non before I made my decision. The 18 non pp is worlds better than my 15 stock for stock, it handles night and day better. The handling on the 18 was good enough that I saved the 4K for other upgrades. The non pp brakes are awesome as well.
I do like the pp wing, and it comes with the 3.55 gears standard.

puts a lot into perspective. This car wont see much if any road courses only drag trip and trips to mexico. Brakes will be a must no matter what for sure.
Why?
60/70 to 0 is about the same distance. Stock brakes are great. The bigger Brembos are important if your running lots of twists or road courses as they dissipate the heat better and thus resistant to fade. Those who think they get vastly improved stopping around town with the Brembos are .........

Torsen diff, cast iron differential housing, bigger brakes, better suspension and heavy duty cooling. Pilot sport tires.. seems like a decent deal to me especially if you are going forced induction

Looking to get into a 2018 GT but I can't decide if I want to go PP or not. Car will be boosted. Leaning A10 so 3.15 vs 3.55's. Like the idea of the brembos but but may not be necessary.

Thoughts?
Big brakes would be a great idea for a boosted car. Not necessary but it would make the car more balanced in capability. I guess you have to weigh out which PP options you'd end up replacing and which ones you'd actually utilize for your boosted build. Then there's the ECU tweaks provided on the PP cars... what does that bring to the table? I have no idea, never dug deep into that.

I can tell you on my 15 I didn't get the PP and don't regret it one bit. I knew I'd be modifying the car fairly heavily and didn't feel it was worth it to pay for the PP parts and then rip the suspension out. The base GT brakes are great for any kind of street use and I've done some pretty high speed highway runs with my Whippled car.

F it..... you only live once.... get it all.... Premium, A10, PP, & Magneride.

It will be so fast, you'll make up the money in not having to mod it.

The only thing I regretted, was the Recaros. B/c they were harder to get in & out of car. And I lost the memory position, and heated/cooled seats with my premium. I also wish they had the A10 with the PP when I got my 2017, if they did I wouldnt have sold it.
