Every single Mustang sold here has it. It's an antenna.

Not in Australia.

We have the 2015 Models - (2015 & 2016 Build dates), with out the Antenna.

It appears the 2017 Models - (Built 2016), appear to have this Antenna.

Key is - sold here. I am in US. They're all have it.

Wanted to have as close to US spec as it is possible, here you go. Didn't get red tail lights, tri-bar or line lock (am I right ?) but you're getting this instead ;-)

You are correct.

All our GT's, (V8's), come with the Performance Pack.

We do not get the Red Tail Lights, Line Lock, Torsen Diff, although we get a standard LSD, Hood Scoops and the Strut Tower Brace.

All S550s have LSDs. But anyway - that lump AKA antenna is a standard feature on every Mustang sold in US, regardless of Sync version. No idea why yours didn't have it. Maybe it was related to Sirius XM satellite radio but no idea why would they add it now.

I saw my Synch 3 MY17 GT today and it has it. I didn't notice it being big at all until I read this thread and checked my photos - and its not so big. Have had a BMW and 2 Audi's so this is roof pod is par for the course.

Was merely pointing out the novelty of spotting something different for the first time. I knew it was an antenna of some sort but as we all like lots of info on our Mustangs and always have I thought I would post it on the forum to see if anyone knew exactly what it was. Not a fan of that lump thing. Spoils the lines of the fastback. Looks like I'm going to be stuck with it, and I doubt I'll even benefit from it as I'm guessing I won't be using digital radio or using my car as a telephone (or however you describe it, the Bluetooth thing). Not really into that sort of technology. Probably wont even be using GPS, or only very rarely at least. It's not as big as those fin things you see on some BMWs.

There's a new surprise every day to this Mustang caper. Most of them not-so-good surprises. Or perhaps I find that mine has a Torsen diff ... or bonnet vents ...
