So what gauges are out there for the Mustang anyway? Does Aeroforce make one?

Edit - looks like they have plenty but can't see one that allows you to set warnings on a specific parameter.

I don't think the guage itself is even that expensive for all that it does. Everything seems expensive these days because the value of dollar keeps dropping.
Perhaps. But it doesn't do anything that I particularly care for or need.

I would love it if Cobb would support the 5.0, but they seem pretty intent on focusing on turbo model cars. :( Maybe if everyone started asking them about it and showed enough interest...

I had an Intune for a while and it was really limited as to who would tune with it. I traded it for an SCT x3. Tunes were better but took a really LONG time to flash the car. Once I got my 2015 I planned on keeping it stock with the Roush tune. I realized pretty quick that I needed an aftermarket tune..... Once I was in the market for one and having to pay extra for the FI tune, I realized there wasn't much of a price difference between the SCT x4 and NGauge. I love my NGauge. Especially how fast it loads a tune. I assume the x4 may be similar, but just mounting the NGauge on the window mount looks good to me. It is a bit bigger than I expected, but it is a great tool and not much more expensive than the competition.

I had an AP v3 on my EvoX and WRX, and indeed, they are superior in every way. I just use an X4 right now, and it is about as close as you can get. The thinness of the v3 was awesome, and I really like that it magnetically mounted to the, well the mount.
Close as you can get as in an Iphone compared to a TI83 calculator, lol? I know what you mean but the Acessport is so far superior to the X4 it is laughable. The 90 degree plug on the top of the X4 and the fact that I can take a power nap while loading a tune using the X4 are the first things that come to mind when I think of how much I hate it. Doing a new tune a datalog every day when you go to a blower is so painful that it makes you dread it with the X4. My STI could switch from 93 to E85 in literally 10 seconds.

You suspect incorrectly. It takes as long as my X2 does on my Cobra.

Especially with a Performance Package car, the only way to use and have it look good was to remove one of my vents. I did it for a while, but I can't stand it anymore (the heat and condensation on my dash)
Can you expand on this? I was planning on putting mine in place of one of the dash vents but I hadn't thought of the condensation issue. My vents do that a lot.

That makes me glad to have purchased the NGauge. The initial tune took 10 minutes to backup the stock file. After that all of my revisions took less than 2 minutes to flash.

Not to mention, NGauge is one of the easiest ways to flash over a Roush tune on the 2015+... SCT requires a special flash prior to backing up.

You would have to block the vent where the Ngauge is mounted. If not ,the unblocked vent will blow cool or hot air on the gauge itself and surrounding dash piece. In the summer my dash would condensate like crazy if I had the windows down.

I used a piece of heavy vinyl (heavy tarp) that was left over as scrap from work. I made a paper template then cut out the vinyl, taped it up with gorilla tape. It has held well so far. I think that you could use a variety of material, like cardboard, as long as you could cut and shape it a bit.
