If you enlarge the bottom hole you will retain tire/spring clearance better. This is the hole Bilstein enlarges on their dampers. Just a suggestion.

Just installed Koni Yellows this weekend, so they're probably still settling. I need to clock the bushing and get an alignment, so these are just preliminary findings.

I'm running:
Koni Yellows
Eibach Pro
Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace
BMR CB005 Cradle Lockout Kit
BMR TCA045 Vertical Links
BMR TR005 Adjustable Toe Rods
MRR M350 19x10 & Continental ExtremeContact DW 285/35/19 Square

Had the Konis at 1.25 from soft on both front and rear and it seemed a little too stiff for a daily driver, so I turned down the rears to about .75 turns and put the fronts at about 1 turn from full soft and it's much better. Somewhere in this area seems to be the sweet spot for everyday driving. If I were to track the car, they would both go to 1.25 from full soft or higher, as the car turns very well at these settings. I'm definitely going to tweak the settings some more and see how the car handles.

anyone know if they make rear strut adjuster extensions? Where you can adjust from the trunk? Or is the only way to adjust is taking the wheel off? Setup...Full steeda catalog, koni yellows, 2 turns but about to add another half up front, need to adjust the rears and realized there was no way to get to them while on the road, middle setting for the sways, did my first road trip today still dialing it in...car is very very planted and excellent in transition and low gear corners, was very impressed on the maiden voyage, so was the Z28 in front of me! Shocked when I told him it was the first time out

you do not need remove the rear wheels, you just have to jack the rear of the car up

yes like he said, just jack the rear up enough so you can reach in and turn the adjustment

Right without jacking up the rear, or taking a tire off. The road trip was already underway and I had no way of getting the car up in the air or getting under the car for that matter, car is too low, I have seen extenders where you can fish them through the trunk. Just wondering if anyone knew about them for the konis

I have the Konis. Have had the Konis in combo with the Swift and Sportlines. The Swift/Koni combo is amazing. Absolutely on the money!!! The Sportlines not so much. I am going to give the Sportlines one more chance. I have in transit Vogtland springs because honestly I do not see the Sportlines making a drastic improvement with a turn or two of adjustment. Stance is on the money but that is it. Soon I will have the Vogtlands on the Konis and can give a review.

I agree, I had my koni's set at 1.25 turns and it was just too much for daily driving imo. I have them set at a half turn off full soft now and it's perfect for me. Handling still is very respectable and I have the compliance I need for everyday driving

I have Steeda Pro-Action shocks and Ultralite springs. Rest of my stuff is in my signature. I run 1.5 turns up front which is perfect and currently 1.25 turns on the back, which isn't perfect... I plan to increase to 1.5 to see if it tightens up some minor bounce, but I'm too lazy right now and otherwise it handles wonderfully so long as I'm not on a concrete shyte road that looks smooth but is ultra wavy because whomever laid it down is an idiot. I have no idea what my alignment specs are but Steeda did it. I have more negative camber than stock specifically done for handling (my Project 6GR wheels did not rub even lowered with stock alignment settings). Overall I'm happy with how the car handles. I don't have nearly as much understeer as the car did from the factory - not even close. I can throttle rotate the back easily.

Only issue I have is something I think can't really be fixed. I feel like the electronic steering does not react as quickly as I want it to. Quick left or right jolts of the steering wheel don't seem to have an immediate effect as they would on previous cars I've had (even a Ford Fiesta!). This didn't get better or worse after suspension work. It annoys the flipping hell out of me and I attribute it to the electronic steering "ratio" around the center point, but I do intend to have my alignment re-thought to see if there's any opportunity there and potentially some adjustment to the sway bars. Don't think it'll help...

Do you have it on sport mode for steering? Maybe you have it on comfort.

Makes little difference, if any. I barely notice a difference between Normal, Sport. It's there but not something I'd brag about. Comfort is different, but still not that much. I expected Sport to be as tight as a BMW... FAR FAR from that. Either case, that only adds weight to the steering wheel as far as I know. Every Mustang I've driven has this same 'delay' with quick turns.

I wonder if the Steeda shocks are valved to be a little softer, perhaps? Either that or you like your ride more rigid than I do.

And yes, I agree with you on the steering feel. It feels a bit numb. My past car had hydraulic steering, I believe, and I liked the feel of that better than the Mustang.

Does firming up the rebound on the yellows affect the compression as well? I see people say it's too stiff after 1.25 turns but a stiff rebound wouldn't make the car feel too stiff would it?
