X-pipe resonator delete, H pipe "", or JBA axleback?

I prefer the X-Pipe sound and performance over that of the H-pipe. An X-pipe is very low resistance and achieves peak airflow in the high rpm band, where the Coyote gets most of it's power. An H-pipe does not flow as well as an X, but the power difference between the two is so minimal that sound preference should determine what you pick. Do you want an exotic racecar sound or a traditional muscle car sound? -Scream vs Roar- Embrace the rasp and get an X-pipe or stick to old school roots and get an H.

I've had my JBA axleback on for about 700 miles now and can say that I am very happy. Paired with an X pipe, it's got a nice, visceral tone up top, but no rasp, and very deep and bassy everywhere else. I would still say it sounds similar to the Magnaflow Street catback, but hard to know for sure as I've not heard it in person. There was some drone on the highway initially, but that disappeared after about 300 miles after some carbon built up on the insides of the pipes and mufflers. Cold start is definitely louder than stock mufflers with the X pipe, but it's a deeper tone, so it's actually not really much different in terms of how a neighbor would react. At idle it has a very satisfying deep thrum.

Overall volume is really not that loud. On a 1-5 scale, if Stock is a 1 and a Borla S-type catback is a 3, this is a 2. To be fair, though, it is quite noticeably louder than stock all the time, but is perfectly reasonable for a daily driver. In comparison, a resonator delete by itself is only louder than stock at cold start and under heavy throttle.

For the price, I think this is a great combination (~$200 X pipe, <$400 for axlebacks).
