Full Bolt On Ecoboosts?

I'm interested in knowing how much quicker your Ecoboosts are from 0-60 and 60-100. I was on I95 the other day and there was a friendly 370Z next to me wanting to go, his exhaust sounded beautiful by the way so I imagine he had some mods going on. I dropped it into 4th and we did the 3 beeps and off we went. I had the jump but he pulled away pretty strongly and I thought to myself, by the time I have a race intercooler, downpipe and catback, and maybe a CAI, will Adam be able to tune me me up to where the car will pull stronger at higher speeds on the stock turbo?

So anyone who's got a FBO EB on 93, how much stronger does your EB pull now than when you only had a tune? I'm not looking to be the fastest on the road or upgrade to a GT, but I want to know, now that you've got your bolt ons and are tuned to get the most out of them, do you feel the couple thousand in mods made a big difference?

Made a HUGE DIFFRENCE!!! Car pulls hard now all the way through for the most part. If your not planning on upgrading to big turbo id say fbo and meth are your best bet

This is exactly the kinda of response I was looking for lol, which single bolt on made the biggest difference and what order did you go in, which parts and if you could do it over would you change anything?

I never did one bolt on at once it was always two or three installed on the same day. But the tune takes the cake. As far as what parts and order adam has a list put out check his thread.

The single best bolt-on you can do is to upgrade the intercooler and combine that with a tune. If you do not mind doing e30 fuel then that is the biggest actual power gain and a 370z will end up not being of any concern in the future unless it's boosted. Hope this helps

You only got beat by the 370 because you're stock and he probably has some bolt-ons. I'm on E30 and those cars can't get within a bus length of me, at best, if they want to race. Intercooler > tune > wastegate > downpipe. That'll be more than enough to destroy him, even on 93. Heck, even just an intercooler and E30 would spank him hard enough to make him reconsider racing another one, lol.

I think he has a tune from tune+ looking at his signature , which makes me think that 370z deff wasn't close to stock at all. I had a G37 years back with a few bolt ons and those VQ engines are strong

As stated above a tune will make you run around 370z all day..match that with Intercooler,CAI, and downpipe and you'll be happy.

When you get the extra cash , bov , spark plugs , help with the overall performance too .

FYI;: I made the mistake and went catless dp + y-pipe + straight through mufflers . gosh darn that was LOUD !! Threw the stock midpipe and resonator back in and it sounds tame . Loud but tame ha

Guess I'll go catless DP with the flowmaster outlaws then. That eBay ATP clone has seemed to get positive reviews but the MMR is still cheap and someone said something about v clamps idk. I've got $700 saved up so soon I can get the Full race with charge pipes kit. Anyone know if going up to a turbo smart over stock BOV on that setup is a necessity?

I have the catless downpipe and flow master outlaws and my car is loud! Lol I can't imagine it without resonator

I went with the catless mishimoto . Just cause it has a lifetime warranty, and it has a 3 inch diameter . I got there intercooler as well But there's plenty other good ones .
