Mine are adamant that it's down to Ford to deliver. Can't do no more.
Damned frustrating.

Tell them, yes it's down to Ford to Deliver, however demand that the car is Prioritised and that they pick up the phone to ford to prioritise it for you. Reitterate that you are the customer, and serving the customer meets one of Fords core values as a company, and that if your request is not met that you'd like to speak to the general manager.

Granted - this is me being a bit of a brat, but, want something done you gotta get it done yourself aint you :frusty:

Sounds about right. I imagine it would be mayhem if hundreds of dealers were sending trucks to collect cars all the time. At least when it's down to Ford, they can send the cars out in some kind of order.

Just insured the car from Saturday as a sub-conscious prod. At least it's done now. Nice little rebate as well!

Seriously though, not sure how big the docks are up there now as I thought most of it had been closed & converted to flats but can you get close? Close enough to figure out what's there?
Close enough for photos??? (Don't get arrested though)

Docks are still massive - something like 40% of container traffic between uk and the states comes though there but further up the coast from the Victorian bits now flats, and only a v small car capacity - 16000 units a year.

Car bit is at the container terminal and can be seen from the road

In a surprise twist my dealership emailed me at the weekend to say the car was in Liverpool which is the first thing they've got right all year!

Interesting that they contacted you, means that they're system has updated. Did they give you an estimated date for delivery?
