Just a hypothetical...What happens in the event that said unit were to take a dive and there's no warranty. zero support. nothing?

$300 is a fair amount of change this day in age and I'd definitely want that saved for....part of a tire, which I hear these Mustangs like to burn through

Raxiom's warranty is set in place for a reason and that's to give customers peace of mind; Having been in this position before with a (dare I say european car) and having being burned badly I'd shell out the extra in a heartbeat knowing I have that safety net.
