I ran some wire to my tweeters, and I did it the easy way not through the molex connector. I guess you can get through the molex, but people say it's hard. I put some black wire cover on them, and I never notice them. I'll take a picture when I get home. I really wish I wouldn't have ran new...
This was my second time behind the dash and it only took me an hour to do it. I broke some clips but no biggie. Everything went back together good. Take everything out behind the dash, and it makes it easier to get to all the harnesses. If you're hooking up an amp, I'd recommend using a 9-wire...
This is pretty old but since there's no resolution: fuse 15 (20a) under the hood fixed mine. It's for convertible top motor, which I don't have, but apparently runs the obd as well. I just switched it temporally with fuse 17, which is for convertible top motor as well, and the obd worked.
He's right. He says in the video it was going to be too hard to make a harness like that for the premium guys. You"ll be running new wire with his current harness.
I wish I would have waited to do this...I would run a nine wire straight from that harness to the amp...if I'm understanding him correctly; I'm still pretty new.
He's waiting for the programmer he said. So once he gets those, they'll be out for sale. I'm sure he'll mention it here first.
I'm kinda wondering what the price is going to be. It's hard to estimate a price for something like this.
Light was off this afternoon and ever since. Weird. I will see if there's any codes under engineering mode. Maybe the car doesn't like the -10 windchills here in Iowa.
Thanks. That was helpful.
What seemed crazy to me is how my car did that weird stuff while I was driving. Startled me pretty good; but it seemed like it really wanted me to take notice. I'll be checking it after work. :D
