Interesting they aren't painted. IIRC the GT350R wheels needed a coat of paint to protect the carbon fiber epoxy from breaking down from long term exposure to UV light.

It'll probably take me forever to afford a set of CF wheels but that's ok because the development time will probably take forever anyways.

Carbon fiber wheels are exciting.
If you guys are interested, here is a great video posted a while back by Koenigsegg on the making of their wheels. They use a pre-preg carbon fiber and are crazy light and crazy strong...

Ford gets the wheels from an Australian company CarbonRev (I believe) and I read a while back that they are made via vacuum infusion. Less light and (maybe) less balanced, but still awesome.

I calculated that just the material alone for the prepreg wheels is in the $600+ range per wheel. The material for the vacuum infusion wheels is probably in the $300-400 range.

and I wouldn't suggest something super concave in that style, for all four corners of the car.
