What a beautiful car. Kind of sad that it only has 2,600 miles, but I guess it's to be expected. Most people buy this kind of car to brag and as an investment, not to use it as a car. Hopefully there's at least a few track miles on it.

One of the shortcomings of buying anything at that level is most that do are fully commited and consumed by the ability to do so. Doesnā€˜t leave much time for more then the acquisition in a lot of cases. I’d rather have the mechanical art in my shop/garage then something on the wall in my house. Stunning car.

I try to keep my non-driving money in the stock market. But I understand that if you do it right you can come out just fine buying something like that.

I have to admit I bought a scale model of a Ford GT in performance blue just because I like to look at it. Kind of dumb, maybe - but it didn't cost me much. No garage space, no insurance, no hassles.

Diecasts are my weekness. I justify it with my little boys. The quality of many now is very good. As for stocks, not my cup of tea even though that’s what I went to school for(finance). I like land and real estate. I really like tangible assets. No judgement from me though.
