Build date and Arrival at Dealer date

Please let me know your build date and arrival date at dealer date. My build date was 4/08 and my car still has not shipped from flat rock to my dealer. I'm going on 5 weeks and I want to see if this is typical. My car has been released for shipping on 4/25 and supposedly received by a trucking company but has not left flat rock.

This is only speculation on my part, but my guess is hold up in delivery dates might be because they can only put 3 gt350's on a truck at once. So you're waiting on 5 other cars coming out of that plant heading in your direction. The delays prob just compound if their is only 1 350 going on that truck as then they need 7 other vehicles to fill truck up. Again just a guess on my part.
Mine just went into production, a week early. delivery date June 5th, but dealer shows May 30th.

January 4th build date and February 27th arrival date for me. I'm only 500 miles from the plant. It went by rail most of the way. It was a long wait!

Maybe based on the other thread on here, it was 1 of the 25 that were stolen off the lot and Ford has to rebuild it...

I'm south of you also. When my raptor came years ago it came Michigan to my dealer no stips. You're well within the range.

Call the trucking company directly and ask them to put a priority on it. They wait for trucks going in the dealer's direction and sometimes that may take time. Mine was also shipped via truck rather than rail, and I called. It would have taken quite a bit longer, but I told them car was sold and they expedited it. I called on a Friday, and after they initially said no trucks were going in that direction, it showed up to the dealer the next Tuesday.

FWIW My Boss 302 was built 5/21/12 and delivered to the dealer 6/21/12

I got good news...dealer and I called trucking company and car is loaded on trailer and waiting fo driver to pick it up. I should have it Monday or Tuesday. Btw I was near flat rock on Wednesday and I circled the holding lots...what a sight...thousands of mustangs of all types...I saw GTs,cars with clear taillights headed to Europe, many shelbies and some R's...it was pretty neat....thanks for the responses guys...she will be home soon

hopefully you get in 18 days after build....mine was 39 days after build before delivery. I picked up mine yesterday.

I have a gt350R on order. Build date was 3/17 and has no ETA just says awaiting shipment. Maybe mine was one of the stolen ones. Any way to find out?
