While I have lots of time on my hands waiting for my 2017, I got to thinking about what car was given up to get into the GT350 (if any).
Although I would like to just add it to my current cars, it just isn't financially feasible for me. We need the family sport utility to haul the family and all sorts of assorted stuff around. Therefore, my current fun car must go.
The car I'll be giving up for the GT350 is a 2006 GTO. Thankfully, I love that car (complete urethane bushing replacement and Vengeance Racing dyno tune) and that will make the anticipated long wait somewhat more bearable.

I'm giving up a Nissan 370Z. I'd like to keep it as well, but we really don't have the space. Plus it kinda just sits in the driveway not getting driven. Sad.

I am swapping out a 1970 Mach 1 - Calypso Coral with all the options.
The Mach 1 is still up for sale if anyone is interested.

Nice!
If only I still had my '69 Mach 1. :headbonk: I gave it up when purchasing a home in the '90s.

'11 Mustang GT. They're holding their value quite well in my area so my trade in will go well. In fact, you can't get a low miles '11 or '12 GT with the BBP for less than about 23K at a dealership within about 50 miles of me.

The GT350 was never meant to replace my previous car. My previous car was a 97 Supra turbo. It had under 70lk miles and was pristine, it was sold over a year ago. It was a big single (T74) turbo car with some minor suspension upgrades. Nothing I've driven has had the affect on me like that car, and I had my share of performance cars. The way the power would just hit you. I got to drive it once around the Nurburgring and it was pretty good about putting the power down. That car will never be replaced. In all fairness, it's apples to oranges. I like the GT350, but it just doesn't give me the same satisfaction as the Supra did. It's too bad those cars go for 40+ thousand now, atleast the ones in the condition that I had. Life happens and you move forward. I'm selling the GT350 now, so I'm sure I'll miss it when it's gone too.

I won't be giving up any car. I haven't had a sports car since the early 90s.

Gave up my 69 camaro and CTS-V wagon. I wasn't enjoying the Camaro as much as I should and the Cadillac would gather dust once my R arrived. Ended up making money on the Cadillac so it was an easy call.

I gave up my GT/CS, I did many Mods to the car, which is the part I miss the most.
Knowing I built it, must say once the Shelby arrived and I drove it, the pain went away :)

I will be keeping my black 2007 V6 mustang as my daily driver. I still love the way it looks and drives!

Not sure why I see so much contempt from some (not all) people online about the base mustangs. For me, it was the best performance car I could afford at the time, and for a daily car it has reasonable power and of course is very stylish!
