I was looking on autogeek.com for a wax/car care kit. What brand do you recommend? I was thinking about going with meguiars ultimate liquid wax kit.

I've used Wolfgang products for years, absolute top notch. I ordered a bunch of Mckees 37 stuff, no complaints so far. There is a clear difference in quality between the brand's you see on the shelf at auto stores and what you find at places like autogeek.

Do it.

I use Meguiars Gold Shampoo, SwirlX, Ultimate Compound, Quick Wax, Quick Detailer, and clay bar. SwirlX is awesome stuff. Ultimate Compound is laughably good. The commercials aren't just BS'ing. It's seriously a compound, polish, and deep swirl remover all in one and is very safe.

I'm gonna do the Cquartz coating on the car, then it's just rinseless washes with Optimum Rinseless Wash & Shine with the Garry Dean method. Since I'll only drive it on the weekends, I'll probably hit it with the Reload spray once a year to help maintain the coating. Hopefully with the way I take care of the car, the coating will last the life of the car.

I concur. I've used zaino exclusively for the past decade and my paint still looks brand new. It's what I would use on my gt350. Correction - what I WILLl use on my gt350 :)

Loads of good brands out there.

I'm a big fan of Adams Products. Super easy to use and the results are top drawer.

If you are looking for a good wax, give Adams Buttery Wax a try. You can thank me later :)

I have been using Zaino for years and I *think* I will use it for my incoming GT350. However, I have heard a lot of good things about Cquartz, Opti-Coat, and Ceramic PRO.

Subscribed so I can get more input from the GT350 crowd.

Definitely don't limit yourself to one brand. Any of the Autogeek brands like Blackfire, Pinnacle, and Wolfgang stuff is all great! Collonite, Menzerna, CarPro all make excellent stuff too. Just try something out and if you like it, stick with it.

Yup, I hear about all these fancy products yet my daily driver of 7 years still looks brand new.

Zaino or go home.
