I think you should have gotten the intercooler before the atp downpipe. Is a no brainer intercooler is the next step

Blay reason why i did not start with the intercooler first was because of my budget and my initial goals for the car. At first i wanted to work on the sound of the vehicle then later on work on the performance. I think all ecoboost owners can agree with me the stock exhaust system is crap compared to the v6.

PRG3k haha lol. If i do move foward with the wastegate actuator i can still manage to use the stock intercooler for a while? Or no? I know the intercooler is the most important mod due to the stock intercooler being garbage. But damn prices are crazy. Most of my mods i was able to do myself or with a friend but removing the bumper itself looks hectic.

Your ecu is probably already pulling timing due to high charge temps. Bite the bullet and get an intercooler. You may be able to snag a used one on the forum here. MAP and Mishimoto are not super expensive if you aren't planning on more than 400 HP.

Dude, the bumper is so easy to take off. Its just time consuming because of all the little bolts on the splashpan. I bought a Milwaukee M12 lithium powered ratchet which takes the removal time down to about 10 minutes or so.

I would keep watching the bolt-on section of the for sale forums for an intercooler. There's three of them for sale on the first page alone.
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=149 You'll be so glad you got one when the summer heat really kicks in.

Once you get one, these all show you how to install it. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mustang+ecoboost+intercooler Easier than a damn wastegate install I tell you that! That little f#cker can be a pain in the ass.

Profab here in central Florida charged me 200 to install the IC and wga. I know that's a pretty far drive but maybe it gives you a target.

DIY, engine bay is so empty and motor so easy to work on. If you're short on tools or in a parking lot I can see paying a shop.

I went with noise first as well. Next mod will definitely be an IC.
I was thinking of picking up a Cp-e. But my modding is on hold until I decide if I'm keeping the car for several years or getting rid of it next year.
