i wish insurance was like that here.

I use geico, as they are the least expensive. I insure 3 cars.. a 14 explorer sport, the gt350 and a 2011 cts-v wagon on the policy.

It's 4 grand a year for primo coverage, $500 deductible .

I have my galaxie on collector car, declared value insurance.

insurance in new orleans is SKY high. it was 1200 a year in Nashville for a f-150, platinum, the same cts-v wagon, my galaxie and a audi S6.

blarg.

who wants to sell me a rancher in east texas for peanuts so i can use that as my primary address?

Had USAA for 28 years, until I added the Shelby. My insurance went up 180 a month, making my six months $1890:eyebulge:

Called GEICO and provided them my information, 7500 miles per year, 500 deductible, 2016 MustangGT, Ford Fiesta, and now the Shelby, $619 six months:clap2:

Called USAA back to see if they would match, no go. I also stated that GEICO asked about my military, retired 30 years, government affiliation, employed as senior government as well as my wife, each of us with clean driving record with 4 good driving points each, each double graduate degree holders, own home, and professional associations. USAA said my military service is all they used for my rates, nothing else. They were flabbergasted by my quote by GEICO, and could only muster a 200 annual reduction. All I can say, switching to GEICO from USSA saved me nearly 3k a year because we also switched home owners insurance. Pays to shop around for sure.

Yup, I was disappointed with USAA, they are a fine company. But the difference with GEICO was much more than I could over look. I was shocked at the difference. Maybe they will see a trend in losing such long term customers over their calculations for this car.

For sure. The USAA rep finally stated she did not know how GEICO is done my such lower rates, and I said as a customer, it also comes down to the bottom line. Too bad USAA would not match.

USAA: $728/year for the GT350. 3K miles per year $500 deductible. GEICO quoted me higher.

Has anyone used Heacock Ins. in the past and if so, what is your experience been with them? I am strongly considering them but would like a bit more details, good or bad about them.

TIA.

Hey guys... Same boat here.. Called geico for giggles and they knocked the panties off everything. I am considering swapping my whole kit N' kaboodle (house & other vehicles).

They quoted 1,076 a year 500 deductible. I did however specify this is not my DD so that is where rates will vary obviously. But I was still prepared for 2k a year so I'm happy as a clam.

I wouldn't trust geico at all. Way too many horror stories. I've seen signs in repairs shops that say they won't even take Geico insurance claims. I've had people tell me when they've called geicos roadside that the contacts they use refuse to come out since geico undercuts everything.

Just like anything else, you get what you pay for. 95% of the time you insurance company doesn't matter. It's a piece of paper in your glovebox. It's when something happens are you going to see if they are good or not. I wouldn't roll the dice. Not worth the risk to me.

Good advice. I'm going to chew on it a while and do some more research.

I've heard many bad things about Geico, one of the major ones being people getting their rates raised every year for no reason.

The online quote for American Modern is showing my about $1000 a year for agreed value insurance on a GT350R 6k miles. Not bad.

I am with State Farm. I've been quoted $800 per year/ $500 deductible/ no miles restrictions that I am aware of on a 2017 GT350. I am 48 years old, married, with 4 other cars and a home policy with State farm, and all discounts applied.
