You'll need to do the sidelights and trust me, if you thought the DRLs were tough the side lights are in an entirely different ballpark... :tsk:
DRLs were a pain because i didn't put them in right... Don't plan on doing the sidelights tbh.
Buy the LEDs and get your dealer to fit them should it be in for anything. Worth it for the uniformity on the front. I actually prefer the sidelights to the DRLs but would never remember to switch them on every time and the auto does its own thing...
I leave mine on auto, and can't really tell...

Side lights come on with your headlights though & the drl go off. So when your headlights are on you have nice modern white light along with crappy 80s halogens underneath. For £4 you should really change them
Doesn't really bother me to be honest, can't switch it off though, it's obviously an embedded software thing. A bit like the double honk which is the most annoying feature of the car by far! (Can turn that off but requires connecting to computer with relevant software) but i digress.
A bit cheaper for my efforts this time lmao!
