rear wheel arch liners torn

Just got back from Modurstang who have fitted 25mm front/ 21mm rear wheel spacers and they look excellent ,thanks Mike and team.
While admiring the spaced wheels I just noticed that the rear arch liners look like they have been ripped/torn/shaped by a gorilla.Ragged torn appearance,no organised shape.I have read a couple of posts on a US site complaining about it, I can't believe it is supposed to leave the factory like this!!Do you guys also have this problem??

Why would Ford make /shape these in such a haphazard way,it looks so naff on a brand new car.What is the advantage of making them so badly,the cost of making them square etc must be the same as making them badly,so what is the gain.Someone at the factory must have spotted this.
I know it is a very very minor point and no lives have been lost :frusty:and the car is otherwise fantastic fun and amazing value with many elements of good quality,but come on you don't get that sort of poor detail even on an entry level £11k Fiesta nor should you,it makes it look old before its time,whinge over ......for now.
