Question to the forum? Has anyone been running there vehicles without the plastic engine cover. Are there any issues to be aware of as I think it looks misplaced and prefer the GT350 look.

It's just there to look pretty, remove it and enjoy that weight reduction

Not just the tiny weight reduction. If you are running a strut tower brace, you can't remove the engine cover for access to anything under it without removing the strut tower. And since a battery cable locator uses one of the strut tower studs (I assume the same in RHD), you have to disconnect the battery to remove the strut tower. So I tossed my cover soon after purchase.

I removed the covers on my: 2011 GT500; 2013 GT and now my 2015 GTPP. Let's the heat out, especially at the track.

I removed mine in the first week.

I like to see the engine.

Engine covers have two possible uses:

  1. To protect the engine from Debris flying in through the grille, and
  2. Pointless decoration

The Mustang is the latter, as are 99% of cars on the road. Its totally fine to remove.

I do somewhere, nothing special mate. Will try and find and whatsapp it to you. Otherwise, it's 4 bolts and about 1minute job to take it off ;)!
