I personally do not care for Cadillac styling (at all). Buick is a little bit better, but I would not buy one.

And I think the Mustang looks better than the current Camaro as many on this forum probably would agree.

So, I see no need to follow GM in that regard, they should lead with a design that is identifiable as a Mustang and not styled by the wind tunnel.

It looks very much like a concept -- it's not even too different than some of the renderings for the S550 a few years ago. Hopefully our member Chazcron can work his magic when specs actually get out to parts manufacturers. My guess is that there may still only be clay in the bunker at this point -- maybe not even that far along. A little less wheel, and some other things that don't make it look like a concept, or exotic, and some additional perspectives: All things I want to see. I like the artwork.

Personally would prefer car that looks a little more retro than aero.

Not every car need look like it was shaped in the wind tunnel.
Get used to it. Unless we can get rid of the EPA and CAFE cars are going to start looking more and more like each other to meet fuel economy targets.

Not feeling that render. Nice skill. But not s good look. Looks too much like the unattractive Opel car and too much s550. Plus a bunch of cheap plastic looking stuff taped on.

It's s fun render. But nothing that looks to actually advance the look of the car for the future.

The real fuel economy gains to be seen at this point are probably not going to come with improved aerodynamics. The main benefit would probably come from a Turbo 6 offer like in the new MKX for improved power and fuel economy. They could also clean up the bottom of the car in terms of aerodynamics with bottom panels, similar to what the Europeans do.

You can get an idea of where this may lead but looking at what the Europeans are doing, where gas prices are higher. Even the Porsche Boxster is now being offered in a Turbo 4 as the base model instead of a 6.

2021 Mustang GT S650 Render - JC Design.webp

Hello people how are you took a long time without doing anything here, but there is always a moment of inspiration .... The other day I saw the concept opel manta was the closest thing to a mustang or camaro in Spain and using as their platform body. Travel into the future and saw what could be the future mustang gt. This based on the aeons and playing with blanket and opel monza concept gives this cool and futuristic result. Also use the color liquid blue GT and GT350R and gave a touch of gray to combine well. I hope it's to your liking
this looks like shit:tsk:

Your rendering is nice. You are clearly very talented.

There's a couple things that as a designer you might want to look into. The opel monza/GM connection has got to go.
It's sacrilegious to not only each brand but to the mustang marque.

Your rendering has a jaguar feline muscular 90's look to it. That's also contrary to the mustang marque as well.

Your A-pillar is waaaay to thick. Finding an apex in that is gonna be difficult.

Keep up the good work though, every designer needs mileage.

I think as a concept it is quite good. I think a production version based off of this would be good. What I mean by that is the production versions are always more conservative, but the direction is good.

Like others I'd like to see more angles. It has to stay a fastback / sportsroof. I think just based on Ford's slippery aero push with the GT, the Mustang might see some of that aero influence, and keep that style roof.

I think it was like a huge leap in design between 2014 and this version of 2015-16. That's why I bet on things that are close as cameras full sunroof mirrors in laser technology lights. After the passage of ford, I can not believe that you follow a retro line, you just have to see what other brands such as Buick and Cadillac are making models line very futuristic and I doubt Ford is left behind are more touch-ups and updates dodge in chrevrolet. So I do not think my vision is very distant future Mustang

Under the platform of Opel Manta concept I added the lines of the aeons and trying to keep the aesthetics of the current Mustang and somehow I viewing this concept in a car show as if working on ford and would like to show the future of the brand and specifically this model.
Sorry for being somewhat pointed in my critique. I am new to this forum, so it's hard for me to figure out which of these renderings are coming from Ford and which are coming from individual companies/people.

Your're rendering is quite good, much better than what I could do. I just hope that Ford stays true to the Mustang heritage as mentioned previously.

Keep up the good work.

First to thank all you who commenting.
I've lost count of how many futuristic visions I have made to s550.
I know there are things you may not like but we assume that it is fantasy. Ojala at least take note of some of my proposals and do something really spectacular in s650 as there are many ways to play with your lines you climb another vison that came nothing but see the hyundai genesis. I was much struck the front that reminded me of something the mustang ford and said to me that if we do besides cabrio and give an elegant touch and here is the result.
PS: It's hard to do it several angles when the photos taken are of low quality, perhaps later be better

Nice design, it appears to be a roadster (2 seater)? I don't see the Mustang moving away from 2 + 2 seating.

The front end is definetely more Mustang, but I don't see enough cooling for the V8. The grill area will need to be larger if the V8 continues.

Also, it is way low which is fine for a concept, but will need to be higher for a production car. Many roads (pot holed) in the US aren't low car friendly.

Keep up the nice work!
