Anyone have a rattling noise inside the cab, on the passenger side towards the glovebox/door. I cannot seem to pin point it. I will be having someone drive my car while i sit passenger side to see exactly where it's coming from, but its been rattling since day 1 i bought the car (3 weeks ago).

I searched for related issues, but most were not in the same area.

Check the seatbelt receiver, even with the felt tape it seems to rattle occasionally and the way sound bounces around the cab can make the source difficult to pinpoint. Usually I'll move mine around a little and it'll stop for a while

It sounds odd, but when it is happening, change the dash vent. I had a rattling on the opposite side to of the dash. In my case, it was the vent.

My car is two weeks old and I have the same thing. I had a friend in the car & he thought it was something in the cup holders where I keep keys, building garage opening cards but I took everything out of there & it still rattled.

It sounds to me like maybe its a loose speaker in the door but it comes and goes. Maybe something in the passenger door? Not sure. Let me know if you find the culprit & I'll do the same.

I've had two rattles from the passenger side:

1. The seatbelt rattles against the door sometimes... easy fix.
2. The passenger seat itself makes a noise... not so easy to fix. Sometimes I literally grab the seat while driving (a manual, no less) to stop the noise.

Yes. I just bang on the dash from time to time.

Lately I've had the same issue, however, can't seem to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from on the passenger side. Sounds like from the dash, glove box, the door, or the rear of the passenger side. I planned having someone drive while I sat in the passenger side to figure out where it's coming from.

I know exactly the rattle you're referring to. My car has a different rattle every week and the previous rattle goes away. It's like a rotation or something. I think next week it's supposed to be the passenger seat.

I've had two rattles from the passenger side:

2. The passenger seat itself makes a noise... not so easy to fix. Sometimes I literally grab the seat while driving (a manual, no less) to stop the noise.
 Me too man!

There are numerous things in the stang that creates that noise. If it's primarily coming from the glove box area then it's a simple fix.

I've told my solution before and all it requires is felt tape to be placed in the right side of the glove box area where the glove box door meets. When I get home later tonight I can upload some pics if you like?

I dont think its coming from the glove box, i open it up and remove all items from it, and it still makes the noise above it. I think its the long plastic trim with the vents on it. Can't confirm cause i dont trust anyone to drive my car atm. lol

Another possibility is under the hood of the car you will find window washing
supply tube coming out of the underhood cover at the corner of hood / cowl and glove box ----This was my rattle---put some windshield kit type rubber on it and its quiet as a mouse.

Good luck. I've had all sorts of buzzes and squeaks and rattles in my car. In fact, the car has spent over a month with the dealer (in the first six months of ownership) for them to try to track down the squeaks.

I gave up because the dealer's interior guy was hard of hearing (no, seriously -- think "hearing aid") and they couldn't fix it. I tore apart the interior and stuffed new cotton rags everywhere, and finally the car is quiet like it should be.

My car has recently developed a rattle on the passenger side. It was fine until they replaced the switch unit for the hazards, now I want to burn it
