The Hogan IMs shouldn't need a standalone PCM if all the sensors are installed, and a single throttle body is used. The dual TB and plenum looks so cool, but I'm afraid it would be a tuning nightmare. Something similar to the CJ with the SCJ monoblade would probably be pretty beneficial. What's really great is that Hogan will probably be able to build it around the hood AND the strut brace. There would be no drawbacks installing it if it worked well.

Agree, I like the upper right. Borla intakes are sweet but the price is

If you use a mechanical linkage throttle body, you will need a standalone PCM. If the manifold accepts the stock throttle body, Voodoo would be at square 1 as he is looking for something larger. Hopefully someone comes out with a quality drive by wire throttle body.

I was thinking the CJ style intake with the CJ mono blade tb. I'd like to see a 30+ hp increase

They already tuned an oval TB with the stock ECU on the VMP GT350.

Something to consider...

We are working on the driveability with our GT350 as it has the large Whipple throttle body but is using GT electronics, the GT350 electronics are different. So, we have some quirks. Whipple is working on a throttle body for the Whipple that accepts the stock GT350 electronics. It is larger than the CJ monoblade, so I'm not sure if it will negatively effect a NA Voodoo. but, it will be a unit that should not give any driveability issues like the others when using GT electronics.

It's not mechanical through, still drive by wire. We have the large Whipple unit on our GT350. I guess what I forgot was that Hogan will put any flange you want on the manifold so a mechanical linkage t/b is not necessarily required with their setup.

That's great news. If I go to a manifold swap I'll look into that. Thank you

Which version are you planning to use Voodoo?

I like the top one and dual plenum, the dual plenum would be a pain though.

I was thinking it may be possible to use the dual plenum with two stock TBs if you used some sort of splitter so they would work in unison with the factory TB tuning tables. Someone here has mentioned that possibility before. I don't know how well that would work, or if the part throttle drivability would be tough to tune. It seems to be about the most straightforward method in theory. Plus, it would look flippin' sweet under the hood! [emoji41]

If all of that worked, I have no idea how the CAI(s) would work with the MAF calibration.

I agree on the CJ intake, I think the smart play is using a ported CJ with monoblade and lower engine mounts, this is what I intend to do when I get mine.

I don't think the engine will go down enough for the CJ to clear. The oil pan will hit the subframe first.

Not gonna happen. I already trial fit it months ago. The oil pan to k member clearance is 3/4" already. The intake keeps the hood from shutting by over 1" even if you lowered the engine 1/2" that's to close for comfort with a plastic pan and engine movement. Besides the intake will still hit the hood. This is why I may go with a custom unit from hogan.
