I don't think anyone has an issue with them using the 6.4 Challenger for the comparison.

Since the Challenger doesn't have a turbo 4 option (thank goodness), the V6 fills that spot for them, the 5.7 Hemi compares to the V6's and the 6.4 to the 5.0 and LT1. The Hellcat...well right now it's in a class by itself.
This. Just because Dodge offers more V8s ( thank the car gods) doesn't mean you have to compare the 5.7 to the 6.2/5.0. :headbang:

Camaro: fast, ugly
Challenger: sluggish, beautiful
Mustang: just right
If you drove a 6.4 SRT it would not have felt sluggish. Even the comparo says the power is felt instantly. I've driven all 3, and the big Q of the 6.4 is most noticeable. The car will feel bigger, and occupy more space. You will notice that on narrow roads. The Sport Mode will stiffen the ride considerably. Mine is even stiffer as I've added front and rear strut braces.

This Comparo was done with manuals. The A8 drivers are getting times as fast as the A8 SS drivers.

Keep in mind the Scat Pack doesn't have the adjustable suspension. It has the same basic suspension as the 2011-2012 SRT and SRT Core models. Only the SRT's for the 2015+ cars have the adjustable 3 modes.

Saying the Hellcat is in a class by itself... So is Mustang's Turbo 4. (Despite producing similar HP ratings as Ford's V6)

Again, just my opinion... Base V8 to Base V8.

Which I would KINDA agree with, my issue with that is the Scat Pack made the Challenger cost more than the Mustang GT. Several grand, if I'm not mistaken. (Although I'm mistaken quite a bit.)

If you're comparing the most base to the most base, it is.

However, the Scat Pack is priced similarly to a Mustang GT premium, and has all the same features minus the leather interior.

When I was car shopping, I saw the R/T Plus is the equivalent of the GT Premium as far as options and pricing. This may be a result of demographics though.

When I decided to trade my Camaro SS. I cross shopped the Challenger R/T and the GT. Might have actually pulled the trigger on the R/T if the local dodge dealers would have been realistic with the price of what they had.

Looks like if the mustang had the non recaro seats they would have liked it more. The panel gaps ehhhhh well i don't know when is Ford really going to even try to fix that. Looking at the handling, trap speed and quarter mile times, the camaro is a beast. I see alot of people here complaining about the price tag of the camaro ,but considering what the car is really offering from the factory, its actually priced pretty low.

I don't see a problem with them using the 6.4.

In fact, I'd see a problem if they DIDN'T.

The truth is the Camaro is the faster stock car. That doesn't bother me one bit because I don't buy a sports car to keep stock; I buy based on potential and looks. You can't fix the visibility of the camaro with modifications or the overall body lines without spending absurd amounts of money. On top of that, I was able to get a way better deal on a new mustang than I was on a new camaro. So in the end I saved about $5000 over the Camaro. That means 275/19 tires all around and a lot of money on suspension mods. If I cared what the magazines said, didn't know how to turn wrenches, and didn't mind the visibility and styling then I would have bought a camaro.

With all that said, Dodge needs to produce a lighter and smaller car with that 392 of theirs. Then they will have me second guessing my mustang purchase.

Because the 5.7's are pretty much the performance numbers of a stock 2005 GT. I rather see everyone's big boy motors for around what 40K gets you.
It's still comparing Granny Smith to Golden Delicious if you ask me.

"Dodge Dart GTS" I think it'd be amazing, albeit an engineering nightmare.
