If that Challey wasn't so heavy, it would be an awesome car!!!!!

Many of us chose it because it is big

That article compares the RT SCAT. If you drive the SRT with adaptive suspension, it's totally different. Stiffer and no slop.

If they used more aluminum and carbon fiber on the Challenger, that would be great. I am for lighter...not smaller on that car.

I don't think the Camaro should have placed first. It should have placed 3rd. Its UGLY. Looks are important in these cars. Visibility is also important. I don't care how fast that POS is. If you can't see you should not be racing the car.

Everyone likes to talk crap about the Challenger as if it can't handle turns..

95% of the handling issue is lack of physical grip from the tires. Swapping on 295 MPSS on the rear and 275 MPSS on the front changes the car dramatically.

Yep

I run 275's up front and 305's in the back. The car will take 315's in the back without a fender roll.

Having driven all three, if I was a person that never modified or touched a vehicle I owned... This would probably be about right. In a stock to stock form, the Camaro is a night and day difference. It's low, fast, and fun. The interior, although plastic, really does have more a cockpit feel to it. The Challenger starts moving the moment you engage the clutch. It runs out of gear quick but it's easily noticed. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with my Mustang and I would much rather drive it over a distance than any of the others. However, drive the others in a stock form and you'll feel like there was a bit left on the table when it rolled out. To which we must say thank you to all the vendors and the community that supports this platform (Seriously, hop on a Challenger forum and it's kind of depressing).

Looks are subjective. To you it is ugly. To others its very good looking. To some the Mustang is ugly.....I think those people are blind, but thats ok. I think the f-150 is ugly af. But I understand that it is the best truck out.

Yes the tire is pretty poor on the car. But it just feels out of place in the corners. Is it terrible? No. It just feels more at home touring around. Which is ok, just not for me. But damn it sure is pretty. My neighbor has a new silver SRT........:eyebulge:

It's because the new F150 is ugly AF. They went to town with it on the ugly stick and didn't let up.

living in the rural mid west, there are some that would kill you for saying that lol. I would much rather have the GM twins or the ram. But my opinion does not take away the capabilities of the truck itself, just because *I think its ugly.*

There should have been a criteria for which car would handle a flood better. The Challenger.

All jokes aside, I'm not surprised they rate the Camaro first. I am surprised the Challenger got the ratings it did though, ahead of the Mustang. I find the Challenger to be the worst of the three. The only thing I can give the Chally is that it's stayed pretty true to retro-styling, but even that is getting pretty old now.

The Camaro

is ugly. This is not an opinion...... Well maybe it is better to call it an opinion supported by the vast majority. Most people think Rosy O'Donnell is ugly. I guess that is an opinion too.

Some would say Olivia Wilde is ugly. That would be a minority opinion.

Its the opinion on this forum. But not for the majority of people. I have had a ton of people acknowledge the 6th gen. Its ugly to you. That doesn't make it ugly to others.
