A Faster Horse

A bit OT, but Netflix picked up A Faster Horse this month. Nice documentary on the development of the 6G Mustang with some light Mustang history thrown in.

As this is my first post after lurking for more than a year, I'd be remiss if I didn't thank this community for being such a tremendous resource of knowledge and passion. Thanks to all. Genuinely, thank you. I've stopped by just about every day since the 350 debut in LA and I learn something every single visit.

I've been a Ford truck guy with a many Ford grocery getters thrown in over the years as we raised our family, but this is my first Mustang. Nothing like jumping into the deep end with both feet A lot of car for a newb like me, but YOLO! My car is built and expected at the dealer next week. Let the journey begin...

Just got done watching it. There was a lot of history in the movie. I wish more time was spent on the development of different aspects of the car. Much like the Focus RS videos. Still a must watch movie for Mustang fans.

Hey all. I had the great opportunity to work on the sound of A Faster Horse. I never did get to meet Dave yet was loaned a '15 GT 50th Anniversary to record. Quite a different car than my '03 modded Cobra! The filmmakers were really passionate about the Mustang - such as searching for a shot of it passing a Camaro! Placing the Mustang as a piece of American history was a good play. In the end seems to be more a film about teamwork, commitment and the responsibility of pleasing the fan base. Glad you all seem to like it.

Awesome. I really liked the shot of them passing a Camaro. It was worth whatever hassle they went through. lol

Well worth watching IMO. Even for Mustang fanatics who already know a lot about the history.
