^^^ That's exactly right. The biggest factor in the depreciation of the GT350...Tech or Track...is the 2018 MY. Tracks have taken the same hit with almost nothing since the production announcement selling for much over $50k on eBay Motors.
I keep trying not the scratch this damn itch :D but visit this thread despite my better judgement.
I never intended to track my car with any regularity but it's not unreasonable to believe the car could survive HPDE or Autocross events on at least a limited basis.
Unequivocally, this car was...
This thread was about the lawsuit before it was derailed by armchair attorneys and their condescension. I get it...Speculation and opinion comes with forums but this thread has turned divisive. Track et al v. Tech.
We all love our Mustangs. That's what brought us here. Shared interest...
I say little but lurk a lot. Yeah, I'm one of those . But I'll say this:
There is at least a credible chance this case advances to the discovery phase and when it does, the responses to the interrogatories concerning disabling of the trans temp, developmental and consumer occurrences...
It's called Roadwrap; not Offroadwrap or Trackwrap :). I'm not recommending the stuff for either of the latter. 2.5 mil is no problem for road use. If in doubt, double it up.
I opted for Roadwrap as I just needed road protection before PPF. Much cheaper and I got two wraps out of it. I wrapped the entire nose (trimmed out the grill openings), half the hood (trimmed the vent opening), the mirrors and the rockers. Drove 70 miles (mostly highway) from the dealer to...
Kudos...That's way below market if it's Xpel Ultimate (not to mention tint that's $300+ in most places). Just film cost for full front end back to A pillars is about $1800. Rockers and rear impact is another $520 just for film.
Got all those areas filmed plus door panels below lower belt line, front fender behind wheel, and door cups...by certified Xpel installer in Lancaster. Plus OptiCoat ProPlus. Plus window tint (35%) on all but windshield for $3770 ($2670 Xpel, $850 Opti, $250 tint). Meticulous install with all...
I just barely scraped the splitter with the 67" Race Ramps. The owner's supplement indicates 70" minimum ramp length for towing so no surprise on the slight rub. I ended up buying the extenders, but a piece of 1X lumber in front of each ramp would've also worked I believe.
Background: Followed into a Lowe's parking lot this past Sunday by a guy with his wife and kids in tow...started with a "how do you like it?" when I got out of my car and turned into a nice 20 min convo on all things GT350. He had just gotten his VIN and was super excited as he's hoping to get...
My dealer floated a few posters my way but no givesies on the DVD or card holder so had to go free market. He did me the major solid of MSRP so no complaints whatsoever.
No experience with Tracwrap but it's got a solid reputation as a great solution for track days. Though a thinner film, I opted for Roadwrap as I just needed road protection before PPF. Much cheaper and I got two wraps out of it. I wrapped the entire nose (trimmed out the grill openings), half...
I chose to stay as close to stock as possible so I went with the FP separators on both sides. I'm pleased with the separators themselves, but I'll probably change out the hoses. The driver side hose back to the intake is a bit long and slightly narrowed on the last bend approaching the CAI...
Thanks again to all and I'll be sure to post some pics
^^ I loved that shot...gave me a nice chuckle :D ^^...excellent work on the sound, cobra4ever
A bit OT, but Netflix picked up A Faster Horse this month. Nice documentary on the development of the 6G Mustang with some light Mustang history thrown in.
As this is my first post after lurking for more than a year, I'd be remiss if I didn't thank this community for being such a tremendous...
