I wonder why some retailers don't recommend anything over 8.5 wide on the front of the S550?

what offset ? any rubbing ?
I don't remember what the offsets were, but no I don't have any rubbing, on sportlines also, Paul [MENTION=11685]Need4SpeedMotors[/MENTION] set me up, he might remember what they are

We did a 20x10 et 40 square niche misano with 275 tires

This car had alot of room for some awesome wide fitments.

Do you think 295/30/20 tires would work on the front (rear should be fine) with the 20x10 wheels?

Its possible yes, depends on the brand you use.

Id much rather do a 285/35/20

do you think a 20x10 et 45 will fit as well and clear the base 4 piston gt brakes ?
Depending on the style you may need a 5 mm spacer for more clearance.
