What am I doing wrong? I download the new FW, drag it to SD adapter, it shows up on my computer SD file...so then I go to power my Ngauge...I go to Update from SD and it says No updates found. I've tried it literally 15x. With????
Make sure you unzip the folder from Lund 1st on to your desktop. After doing that, you will see a firmware file appear. Just drag and drop it into the sdcard. That's it. You don't need all the other folders that were unzipped....like skins and log. Ignore those. Insert the sdcard or disconnect the usb cord from the gauge and power it up. Then update the gauge from the touch screen. Done.

Lambda 1 is passenger side and Lambda 2 is driver's side. The reason I monitor both is w/long tubes and e85 it's known to kill the o2 sensor in pretty short order. I've already replaced the driver's side and that was before using e85.

Have you relocated the sensor angle?

Pretty ridiculous IMO that customers have to modify aftermarket parts to keep from frying o2 sensors - are any of the manufacturers actually recognizing that this is a problem and adjusting their design accordingly?

It is, but the design is fine for non e85 use so I doubt they care...I've heard that ARH and Kooks don't not have this problem..again don't quote me as I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'd likely purchase the ones that didn't need modification if they exist.

just the firmware180.ng needs to be on the root of the sdcard after it of course has been unzipped to your PC. Like mentioned in the beginning of this thread.
Thank you, I finally got it to work. I only extracted the Firmware 180.ng and it worked:cheers: It wouldn't work any other way. Geez, this was getting frustrating:headbonk:

Did you rescan the car after the update?
Yes, I believe so. I'll try again right now. It shows I have FW 180 now. Is this not the correct one?

I don't think it is because it shows like 9ish alcohol percentage and I have no e85 in there.

That's correct pump gas is up to e10..So if your seeing 9 ish etc your good. E85 will range as well.
