I'd like to know this too since I bought my car with these wheels so I have no base comparison. It's pretty cold lately so I'm spinning the tires a lot and it's hard to tell if that's because of lighter weight wheels or just the cold roads/tires. Might be both :shrug:For the guys who switched from the stock PP wheels, how is the driving difference with the reduction unsprung weight?
This would be a sweet setup with 9.5/285 all the way around...
Are these spacers required if you get the 19x9.5 square setup? If so, where can we get the spacers from? Thanks guys!16mm in front and a 6mm in back. The wheels do not have pockets so these spacer sizes work perfect.
Not square setup. Just for the regular offset style. Are these spacers required if you get the 19x9.5 square setup? If so, where can we get the spacers from? Thanks guys!
Damn. Why?I also thought the rear on mine looked smaller with the factory tires. I think because is concave and makes it look smaller. damn good wheels and very light. Too bad I sold my car ):
Some additional possibilities:Two questions.....
1. Anyone know why these wheels are so much cheaper than others? Is the load rating less or some other spec not as good?
2. Did someone actually take a measurement to make sure a 7mm-10mm spacer was going to be enough for the 9.5" wheel to fit in the front? Just asking because it looks like the hub stick out far and depending on how the cap is designed it might need more.
Do we have any update on this? Dyno numbers before after and if its possible mpg and acceleration feel as well?My Wheels come in tomorrow... I am going to see if I can set up some time at my Friends shop he has a Dynojet Dyno and do a baseline run with the stock PP wheels and them with Advanti DST Hybirs wheels and see what the difference is...
I have heard you can free up as much as 1 rwhp per 3 lbs of reduced unsprung weight.
I will be saving about 14.5lbs per tire in the rear with the swap so 29lbs total...
If this is true I should gain around 9.6 rwhp on the dyno. I don't expect I will but who knows... It will be interesting to see what gains I get if any.
I will also be putting on a Gibson exhaust this coming weekend... I will dyno it after the install as well to prove Gibson are LYING lol... but I hope it gives some rwhp improvement.
Anyway I will update this thread once I have done my tests.
I'd like to see more pictures from anyone running these, especially the silver ones in some side shots.
