I've also got the Roush SC'er and no! You might come up with one of those triangle looking things but just not enough hood clearance. You won't miss it. I hung mine on garage wall until I sold it to someone with a base non PP.
You must remove with all roots type SC'ers not just Roush.

Thanks for input. Need to get with Rousch about this. Serviceman said he thought they had a fix.

Horsepower > strut tower brace
Yea Procharger guys don't have this problem. :)

I don't think you'll find anything unless it's some wierd shaped triangle looking thing. Just not enough room under hood. I'm telling you though you won't miss it except visually. Get $50 from a guy with a base non PP.

Maybe with lowering motor mounts, it's possible. I'm hoping that'll be the case.

I took my brace a just set it on top of the SC'er where it should be. It's about a 3.5" gap over the strut towers. I don't think your lowering it that much. Again other than visual you won't even know it's gone. Much nicer to open the hood and see a SC'er than a pretty brace.

It was worth a thought. I'd like my car to be a jack of all trades. Track and drag. So keeping her as stiff as possible is the goal haha

I've got the Roush so I'm poking at myself slso. We won't tell Doctor Fishtail that they had to cut his K brace too to make it fit. Lol

Trust me you made the right call with Roush SC'er. 1 when you say your dealer installed it, I'll assume they are a certified Roush dealer? You now have close customer support. 2 those are an Eaton made head unit. Eaton is an airo space leader in technology and machining. 3 VMP who are leading the way in their custom tunes are making some of the best 1/4 mile times, same unit. And lastly Roush just carries a name recognition that IMO that if you sell or trade the car will carry more value. Again IMO their are lots of good units out there but you bought a great FI system.

This is actually my 3rd Eaton unit. And one thing I have noticed is that there is no "whine" although smaller pulleys make more whine as faster spinning this unit to be under warranty is Phase 1. Warranties with me do not last long. I soon will be going Long tube headers and full exhaust as I post this car is on jack stands pulling sway bars and springs. Only have 200 miles on car and 30 miles on S/C not really getting into throttle wanting things to break in smoothly. Thank you for the info.
