How many have ordered and still waiting?

What's the typical waiting period between build and when it ships? I was told by FP today that I'm scheduled for a 02/22 build date.(GT350 non-R) I'm waiting on my dealer to send me the VIN. I ordered on 12/07. Is there a way to track the progress online once the VIN is received or is it typical to just call FP periodically after build begins to get updates? Thanks!

I think wait period is all over the place. My car took 6 business days from "in-production" to "complete". Scheduled for 1/14 was completed on 1/15. Car sat at FR until 2/3 then was shipped to Wayne Plant 2/4 where the car is awaiting rail. Others have stated rail pickup in 2 days.

Once you have VIN, call FP periodically or try Deysha on this forum.

Thanks. So it looks like around a month give or take a week from production to delivery based on this and the info provided by some other members.

Total time on the line seems very consistent (~1 week), but yeah, quite a bit of variance from produced to shipped. Mine was released for shipping 2 days after build and was on its way 4 days after that. Others have been waiting weeks/months. Mine was 8 days from produced to delivered since it went via convoy to a dealer 400 miles from flat rock

I just got word from my dealer that my replacement GT 350 is scheduled, and that we should have the VIN next week. I have now passed the 9-month point from when I placed the original order - and 2 months since Ford said the new one would be "expedited."

I hope this means things are moving for everyone who has an outstanding order.

You ordered a car, waiting a long time, you get a car, ends up being pretty much destroyed, ask for a new one, and STILL get it before my August 1st dealer allocation? :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

Jesus Christ. I sold my fun car in November expecting this thing by mid January as "told by the regional rep" and here I am 2/6/16 with a August allocation that is on unscheduled/material hold. And to add fuel to the fire, people are actively getting March build dates now + the fact that I won't know if I'll get lucky with second or third shipping after production or end up waiting weeks in the yard before being sent out.. April-May delivery? God damn it.

Oh and to add; I understand you have waited 9 months to get your car, but I'm waiting 9 months WITH AN OPEN ALLOCATION that the regional rep confirmed for me in October. UGH. I feel like I'm turning into Voodooo and starting to understand his frustrations. (no offense buddy )
