18 miles and its "used"?

I understand what you are suggesting but it is listed as a used car and whoever buys this Canadian car best understand what they are getting into as you are not buying a car brand new from a Canadian Ford dealership.

Obviously the selling price of $59,800 is in U.S. funds which at today's exchange rate is $85,275 Canadian.

Am I not correct in suggesting that the MSRP for this car in Canada would be ~$72,950 Canadian therefore this is a mark up of ~$12,300?

Maybe someone can tell me that my math is wrong but until I hear different this certainly is no deal with GT350's (Non R models) in Canada mostly all selling at MSRP.

I was told it takes 6 months before you can transfer a new car across the border.
The gauges in Canada have both KM and Miles.
Only big difference it would have daytime running lights, thats now law here.
If he has some sort of dealers Lic. he might be able to move it across the border.
At US dollars he's making a few bucks, but not outrages.
Sean Hyland motor sports is one of the most respected tuners/ nodders in Canada.
Builds wicked engines, he would treat car right.

Technically "used" applies if the car has been titled before not determined by miles.

A car can have 75 miles from the plant QC testing, it doesn't make it used.

But being "used" with 18 miles is basically like being off the showroom floor new. But it's also a "international build" with the speedometer in km on the main gauge; if that bugs you.

No Sign of splitter or cover yet, they expect that later this week.
Small chance car this week, most likely next.
I have arranged for it to be trailered home. Not a big deal
I am 10-15 minutes away from dealer.

Yes it does, and it also does make a difference to a wholesaler bidding on the car in the states. I know because I had a dealers licences 5 years ago, and I would discount the heck out of the car, and anyone buying it that doubts this should call a wholesaler and ask if it matters to them in their respective state. Ultimately if you trade the car in the dealer is going to to give you whole sell pricing or at the very least they will consult a wholesaler to get the pricing on the car...either way buyer beware...IMO

Pick your ADM. Looks like 10 K is the min ADM they have set in the reserve. A few have gone for 5K ADM

He charges $1k to convert the speedo, which according to him has to be done to import into the US. No other fees to bring it into the country. He said no Canadian dealers are charging ADM because they can't sell them in the winter.

Based on my experience there is no reason to convert the speedo as the speedo is already in both KPH and MPH.

In addition the odometer can be changed from kilometers to miles so not sure why a $1,000 is required for a needless conversion?
