Honestly, this makes me a little nervous. Some dealers might have a shift in their morals...thinking they can get that money for theirs. They aren't going to be happy leaving $35-$45k of pure profit on the table when selling Rs at MSRP.

Well i have to say i am a bit surprised the bids have gotten to the current level with time to spare. However, it once again proves the demand for these badass cars. Looks like 2 bidders going at it as of now. Should get even more interesting.

It's pretty safe to say there are at least 1000 people in America with more money than they can spend that would like to have the top-of-the-line best-ever Mustang.

Ends in less than 6 hours. Should be interesting.

No doubt. I still think the current top two bidders will have a little war with 5 min to go with the possibility of a 3rd coming in and trumping them all. I suspect we see it touching 125-130k. Whether or not that hits the reserve is another question.

I wouldn't assume anyone on eBay knows what they're doing. Or sometimes what they're actually doing isn't fully represented. I remember a few months back a dealer listed a GT350 on eBay as a GT350R. On the window sticker it has an R symbol for registered trademark. They thought they were selling an actual R.
I talked to two dealers who thought they had an R for that very same reason. :frusty:

ding ding ding. This could be the last Shelby NA V8? A far as the auction, what kind of ADM did he promise the dealer if 115K doesn't even hit his reserve?
There would be no promised ADM to the dealer subject to the auction results as I am quite sure that any pricing between the dealership and the eBay seller had already been worked out prior to putting this car up for auction.

Let me clarify. I was assuming the seller must have agreed to a sizeable ADM to the dealer seeing as the auction was approx 48k over MSRP and reserve had still not been met.

Wow...guess the one I sold at 15k over seems like a steal.

I think you'd have a lot of buyers at $15k over today.
