On January 12, 2015, Ford revealed the 2015/2016 Shelby GT350R Mustang at the North American International Auto Show.
For the seventh consecutive year, Ford created a special edition Mustang for EAA, this time dubbed the F-35 Lightning II Edition (see photos). The vehicle draws design cues from the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II aircraft, the new joint forces strike fighter. The one-off limited edition was showcased at the 2014 EAA AirVenture event on July 28, 2014 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was sold at auction for $200,000 at The Gathering of Eagles charity on Thursday, July 31, 2014.

Recreational towing | When towing Mustang behind another vehicle such as an RV, a wheel lift or flatbed trailer must be used or the driveshaft must be removed. |
