This was introduced with the 2010 model year. I believe at one point there was a locking gas cap sold as a Ford accessory. Perhaps that will be available for the new car.the 2012-14s have the same type of fuel door and capless filler. You push the fuel door and it pops open, that's it. There is a special funnel to fill the tank under the trunk mat where the spare tire is when you need to use a gas can. Can't get anything else is there unless you use the funnel
Locking garages are a great idea.I found that slightly erotic...anyone?
Should be where the spare tire is/would be.The manual shows the funnel a number of times, so it's likely in the trunk somewhere.
Oh Damn :shocked:Looks like the tire repair kit "stuff" leaked out all over the area underneath the trunk. The bag wasn't even opened, and everything was in place, so it wasn't me.
