the 2012-14s have the same type of fuel door and capless filler. You push the fuel door and it pops open, that's it. There is a special funnel to fill the tank under the trunk mat where the spare tire is when you need to use a gas can. Can't get anything else is there unless you use the funnel

This was introduced with the 2010 model year. I believe at one point there was a locking gas cap sold as a Ford accessory. Perhaps that will be available for the new car.

Looks compatible to me, would be cool if it could be operated by your electronic key. Except only unlock when you're about 2ft from the fuel door.
