That's why I swapped the gloss back trunk panel for ingot silver. It gets just as dirty, but it doesn't show near as bad.

Where did you get that pony decal in the side 1/4 window?

There's also a tire valve called a "Presta Valve" (mainly used in the high-end bicycle world) that's somewhat different and not directly interchangeable with the Schrader. Hence the specific naming.

Norm
Norm, you are a fountain of good information.

And for those who want to see the difference.

IIRC, CJ Pony had that one, but I just checked and I don't see it on their website now. It was a royal pain to put it on, lots of tiny little bits that needed to be pressed on individually. It looks better than the ones that are one big clear piece with the pattern inked on, though.

Could these work?

That might work, but since this is an OCD thread, that pony is running the wrong way. :giggle: However, I do prefer black decal accents on Race Red.

@Blue Moon; Thanks for trying!

Also, I'm not really OCD, more like CDO. It's the same thing, but in the correct order.

I totally understand the mirror issue. I have a similar thing with my lights, they tend to *cry* for a little while. I find that immediately cleaning and then driving as fast as possible in a safe area helps. A quick on and off the highway usually works. Then I just mop up the rest. There tend to be many crevices in the car that hold water you think you got until you least expect it.
I do the "interstate" method of driving myself lol works pretty well.

I just looked at my pp1 wheels and all of the valve stems are in the same spot... inside a long spoke. Hmm...

Oh no, you got those wheels!!!!!!!! Get the car back to the dealer ASAP.

Just kidding :cwl::crackup:
I'm kind of curious now. I may take off my front wheels to check. I just assumed they were 19x9 and 19x9.5. I bought my car used so I'm not sure about everything the previous owner did.

I'm looking at all the PP1 wheel pics for sale and the valve stem placement is consistent.

My rears are inbetween the long ones, maybe you have 9.5 up front with a spacer?

Yeah all my wheels have them inbetween the long ones. I have 25mm spacers all around though so i don't know. I'll just take one wheel off later when I get home i guess.

The only thing is my fronts have 255/40s on like they should if they are indeed 9"

edit : just pulled a wheel off. They are indeed 19x9.5s all around. Well hey now I have a square set up that I can rotate. But I don't think I will rotate 255s to the back.

255's on 9.5" is fine. If anything, steering response and precision end up being a little better than Ford's OE fitment of 255's on 9".
