Yellow Blocks on Front Springs

This one used with 1640 miles that I test drove last week still had the shipping blocks in the springs!! Not taking my car to our local Ford dealer here in Bama that sold this one new!

I know this an older thread, but I just found mine still on there after a week of driving. Heard a clunking whenever I went over a speedbump.
So, just wanted to say thanks to this thread, I found the issue pretty quick.

I have purchased 2 Mach 1’s and the shipping block were in both of them. I am actually glad because 1) very easy to remove, and 2) I think they are cool to have.

When picking up my Mach 1 from Chapman, I asked about the shipping blocks. They could not find them but promised to order a set for me. I wasn't sure the folks at Chapman would follow through.....then look at what arrived in the mail yesterday. I was very impressed that the folks at Chapman did not forget me and threw in some goodies!

So my buddy and I were adding the handling package, splitter and wheel moldings to my Mach 1. When we noticed those damn yellow blocks. We both had no clue if they were supposed to be there until we found this thread haha. I've been driving that thing around for 2 weeks now with those things still on.

Save them - in another 50 years, there will be people looking for them for a concours restoration... and you'll be able to unload them for like $10k.... well that's with 50yr inflation rates...

But seriously.... save them.

It's so funny my buddy said the same thing, that if you wait long enough somehow people will treat them like a collectors item.
