XPEL Install on GT350

has anyone used XPEL PPF on a GT350 and did your installer used pre-cut or custom film. has does it look ?

I had xpel installed on full hood, fenders, mirrors, and the sections on the rear fenders right behind doors.

They used pre-cut templets. Not sure if they were sent to them this way or if they cut them in the shop from a programmed templet. Either way it turned out looking great. The shop owner did show me the computer diagram of the pre set templets they had.

Do you know if they wrapped around all the corners of your panels with the template?

Everywhere there is a open gap to wrap they did. The hood, side of fenders and open edges like the under lips of the bumper etc.

My installer used a template for the bumper and fenders. They did the entire hood with a sheet off the roll.

About $1500 is what I was quoted and paid. Full hood and fender. $750 for half

I have my GT350 completely done all the blue, stripes and even all the back in black around lights, spoiler, inside the doors and even did the door edges twice not to damage the edge of paint in case I hit someone's car.

That guy in video 1 with the small earbuds keeps whacking the Shelby hood with them as he applies the product. You can hear it knock on the hood each time he moves forward and back. I guess the product is resilient against ear bud drops on the hood.

Normally he is listening to Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple,Boston,or Jimi Hendrix (James Marshall) but was focused on the stripes.

Lets say in 10 years you want to replace it, if you apply over the stripes, any risk of pulled the stripes up as well?

Mine is finally scheduled but the guy is so busy its not for another 2 weeks. Going with the full front end from the mirrors forward, suntek film, custom application
