If you compare both Base Radio Photo`s, one shows the upper second Button labeled "Sirius" and the other shows the button in the same location labeled "Mute". Me thinks that the Base Radio displaying the Sirius Button is either a mistake (or) the Base Radio to be installed for Canadian destined Mustangs.
I noticed that. So we need to find out if the dealer guide is right (which would mean there's Sirius available here) or if the Order Guide is right, in which case your Export/American theory is probably right.

Or, one was pre-production and the other is newer and more reflective of, if not, production.

What else does 401A give you with the GT premium for $1795. The Ford site lists Shaker audio system, memory seat/mirrors, and blind spot system.

Anything else?

Aside from the reverse side sensing associated with the blind spot monitors, you summed it up. I got it for the sound system; nobody else but dealer mechanics will ever be in my driver's seat so memory seats are pointless for me.

That's a pricey sound system...
Eh, not really. Depends on what you're looking for. I like high-quality audio; the sound system in my bedroom cost me over $10K. For me it's worth it not having to run cable to the trunk for an aftermarket subwoofer.

From what I've heard the "Shaker Pro" upgrade in the 13s and 14s was a huge improvement. This new system looks even better. Also the MFT head unit is powerful for stock.

I have pretty decent expectations for the Shaker Pro in the 2015. 12 speakers and 2 10" subs means it should sound a bit more powerful. It also *appears* like they went to a component style system for the front, so Sub/woofer, Mid/Mid-bass and tweeters all separate up front should improve overall sound and the staging as well.

I only had the regular Shaker in my last two, because the Pro's really didn't sound much better and I replaced both the door and rear deck 5x7's while adding my own 2 x 12" subwoofers. I'm hoping to not even want to do that in the 2015.

This is from CNET for 2013 which seems to fit with what your saying. I had the shaker in my 09GT/11V6 and wow was that thing distorted when turned up. Looks like they fixed that for 13 and like you said I hope they fix the mid for 15

"The Mustang GT's real tech showpiece is its Shaker audio system. In CNET's car, that system was upgraded to Shaker Pro, which not only includes two subs in the doors, but another subwoofer in the trunk, making a total of nine speakers. Powered by a 550-watt amp, this system was able to get very loud and output impressive bass. I liked how the system's sound was barely distorted at high volume, and the looks on pedestrians' faces as I rolled by, giving them the thumpety-thump treatment.

However, the system's midrange sounded hollow. All that wattage did not translate into rich vocals or audio in higher frequencies. It was certainly clean-sounding, but I did not derive the same amount of enjoyment from music as I would have from a system with better midrange speakers."
