Hello,
I have recently bought and installed Xineering Downshift Blip Module. The install itself was seamless, however, I immediately got the wrench icon followed by warning that hill assist is not available.

I checked the error code and it showed code P0504.

The car operates normally with Acc. brake, and clutch function normally.

If I turn off the car, it goes away, then comes back a min after.

Anyone faced issues before?

Update:

I removed the Brake female plug of the blip module only and re-installed the car's Brake female plug, and now the code is gone and didn't come back.

It either the harness I received from Xineering is faulty or the car's computer is sensitive to any changes.

Awaiting Xineering feedback

Sounds like the brake signal wire in the Xineering harness might be causing interference with the hill assist system - I'd contact them for a replacement harness since it worked fine once you bypassed their brake connection.

Update 2:

Max from Xineering has sent me new harness for the brake plug and It has solved the problem.

Big shout to Max for super support
