I just noticed the Ford Partner Site does not break out the "Advertising Fee" as a line item, but I believe the spreadsheet is including that. Maybe Ford has factored that fee into the price shown on the Partner site even though it's not listed separately? I just find it interesting that the price between the Spreadsheet and the Partner Site is EXACTLY the same, even though that fee is not listed on the Partner Site price breakdown...

Nope does the same thing with your Dallas zip code.

The increases are small for options but the real kicker is the $700 or so increase for the GT model.

Automatic old 1167 new 1081
Triple Yellow old 442 new 448
20 inch wheels old 1156 new 1171
Premium Accent Group old 353 new 358
Other options as well go up small amounts.

That I can understand but its the X-plan price on a GT that has jumped over $700 from that spreadsheet and ALL the DORA price sheets I have seen listed here on the site. I haven't seen any DORA's listed with these new prices.

Yes they don't list the fee but refer to my prices above, they are different. Possibly they may include a multiplier for each of those prices to reflect the ADV on each individual option. It appears that all options on the Ford Partner X-plan B&P are about 1.3 to 1.4 percent greater than those of the Xplan spreadsheet.

And yes maybe that $700 or so is the figured in ADV fee plus Fuel charge fee which would work out close to $700. But it should be a far less ADV fee for a base V6 versus a GT premium.

I guess I'm going to find out tomorrow. Or I could shoot Tricia or Deysha a PM I guess to clear this up.

Interesting. I guess the options I've selected have not changed, since as I pointed out, the price between the spreadsheet -- which still uses the 'old' prices you listed -- and the Ford Partner site matches for my configuration exactly.

So do you think these increases are for customer orders only with the other pricing for dealer stock orders? Or is this an increase across the board?
As I understand it from past experience, a "price level" change affects everything. So if you get a customer order, then the price level changes, you stay at the same level as what was in effect on the day you ordered. For dealer stock orders, the next pricing level takes effect. Since some (myself included) are trying to get in the queue faster, we run the chance of getting exposed to this volatility.

I am still going through with my order but if this would happen again and the price between MSRP and X-Plan shrinks even smaller that what it already is ("only" $1770 difference on a $40,700 vehicle) I might have to cancel my order, wait until spring with a $1000 incentive or the like and negotiate my own price lower than X-Plan. X-plan is becoming a less "sweeter" deal by the day. :(
The X-plan discount won't shrink, but it would go against a higher retail price to start. Ordering sooner rather than later as a customer order would likely help avoid later increases. Of course, waiting later (based on what some of the dealership folks are saying) might not net any incentives or be in a better negotiating position until well into next year.

If the car is in high demand, you know the drill.

So really tomorrow I should make sure this is a customer order, not a dealer stock order so it locks this current price in from any future increases correct?

If it is a dealer order this could just happen again in a month or two before the cars are even out right?

I may have to wait a month or so longer but I would be "locking" my price in correct?

According to what my salesperson told me, yes, if your order type is a customer order, you would be locked in at whatever pricing is in effect tomorrow.

Right now, given there have been discussions about the "OK to buy" date being the end of October, you might not actually be waiting that much later than those of us (possibly with the exception of the 50th LE cars) who have a dealer stock order.

They should be able to show you in the CONCEPS order system exactly what the prices are, retail, X-plan, A-plan, D-plan, invoice.

Yes I've seen that date but I've also seen some conflicting reports of 9/9 OKTB still and not the 10/27 OKTB. I would be okay with a November delivery date but stretching it into December I'm not sure. I will find out whatever I can tomorrow. Thanks for the reply. :)

remember if you guys already ordered with a custom retail order (not the stock order), your price is locked in, yes?
Correct, and stock order prices are also locked once they're pulled so if there's an increase it doesn't effect cars already made or in production.

So this increase looks like it will affect those of us ordering from now on and stock orders that haven't been "pulled" or processed yet, but not those that have ordered up until this point (or whatever day it switched over) then I guess???

Wish I would have gotten my order in last week. :(

The X-plan price on the site today matches my X-plan ordered price placed on May 20th! No price increase!

Would you gentlemen mind posting up your DORA or other document that states the X-plan prices next to the options? It could really help. Unless you already have in the ordering thread.

The thing is if you look at individual x-plan prices of options they have gone up about 1.3 to 1.4 percent each. Now this all may be the ADV fee that the B&P site bakes in to each option already as they do not list ADV fee or Fuel charge.

The option prices that come up for me are DIFFERENT than the spreadsheet shown earlier and EVERY DORA that I've seen posted on the site. I have listed some in an earlier post.

Again, I will have a better idea tomorrow, but I'm not big on SURPRISES when it comes to pricing, I like to know what is going on. :)

That was a test by Ford to see if the forums members noticed. Now that it has been noticed they will report back to the mothership that we are watching
