In Canada xplan can be combined with any publicly available incentive. Best to read the rules on the xplan site before going in. It isn't a lengthy read.

Of course if a dealer is willing to sell below the X plan price (including fees, etc.), just don't use the X-plan at all.

100% correct.

XPlan pricing is exactly that: XPlan pricing with all the rules (add on fee limits etc and behind the scenes money between Ford and the dealer.). It is a fixed price: take it or leave it. Period. (Ford rebates can (and should) be deducted from the XPlan price. Rebates are a 'gift' from Ford to YOU and do not alter dealer pricing whatsoever, the dealer ain't giving you the rebate-Ford is).

If you want a price below XPlan then negotiate for it (no rules against that proposition) just stop calling it XPlan as it ain't XPlan any longer and such a deal has NONE of the XPlan protections or benefits (for dealer and buyer). Also understand that dealers are NOT required to sell cars/trucks at XPlan. I (personal choice only) wouldn't go in discussing XPlan and then at the last second try to switch to a lower negotiated price point. Some dealers just may show you the door and their goes your XPlan price with you. Again--all depends upon your local market.

I think we all got off center here in trying to discuss the concept of XPlan and the concept of further discounting within XPlan (beyond Ford incentives) which ain't happening.:cheers:
