Just opened the box from American Muscle. Got the MMD V Spoiler in Black (UA). There is a 1/2" scratch on the one side of it with a 2.5" impression line coming off from it that you could see in the light reflection, like there was some sort of pressure on this area. I've thought about what i could do to touch it up but I have no paint, so I'd have to buy it, or a sharpie but that would probably look bad and not last. I've set it on top of the car just to see how noticeable it would be, and the scratch is obvious.

If it were me, I would send it back :frown:

Even without the obvious mark / defect, the rest of the paint doesn’t look great :frown:

Hope you get it sorted :like:

i second your opinion sir,the fibreglass looks wavy...i opted for a factory "gt350 track rear spoiler" and it looks much better that any of the "knock offs" i've seen!

In the last pic just to the right looks worse than the scratch. Paint is not the greatest, nor was the prep. Me? I'd send it bak.

Thanks everyone. I've started an RMA for a replacement. Fingers crossed with the new one.

Yes, unless they paid to have it repainted.

I would also return it. Needs bodywork and paint. Why should you have to paint it?

Perhaps consider a different manufacturer ? The quality looks dubious

Second one is just as bad. I am officially done with American Muscle.

That sucks but pretty much ever resale company like AM, CJ, etc, do not make their own products thus they are drop shiped from the manufacture directly to the customer. So you should go through AM and ask them to make it right to your satisfaction. Good Luck

I know MMD is a partnership between Chip Foose and AM, just not sure who actually makes it for them. So, this one may actually come from AM but I am not 100% on that. Either way, to have it happen 2x in a row is unacceptable. FP stuff gets dropped shipped (at least the bigger parts) and I’ve never had an issue.

That said, I think I’ve only ever ordered one thing from AM and it wasn’t the best experience so I never went back. CJPP and Lethal are my go-to’s.
