Worked on a 18 for two days and ran 10's

Small list of bolt ons.
Tuned by Limitless Performance and Fabrication!
We used Stainlesworks headers, Baer front brakes, Drag pack off my TT 2018, and took the seats out.
Car is a 301a and weighed in at 3600 and had 3.15's on it. Still had stock intake and stock intake manifold on as well.
DA was 3057.
Ran multiple 10.9's and the last pass of the night in the finals of coyote shootout NA class I ran a 10.8!

Great work. How much total weight was taken out if the car? I know the only thing holding my car back is the pp1 pig weight. 3800 on cat scale with 1/2 tank.

With me in it the car weighed 3600lbs. I'm not sure what it was prior to that though

I was going to guess about that. So car itself was 3450 range. Thats a good 250-300 weight reduction.

Yup! the brakes and drag pack alone were a good portion of that. Also not having the catback was a big portion as well

Do you think it would have run 10’s with just cat delete pipes? Stock headers. Most of the gains imo are from the minus cats and open exhaust.

I believe it can be done. A year ago I ran 11.3 with just LPF flex fuel tune.
If I got down to the weight of this car it definitely would've been right there on the edge if not in the 10's

I think Lethal only gained a tenth putting on longtubes in their n/a build progress sheet. Headers such a pita.

Oh trust me I know how much of a pain they are. I wanted to give up halfway hahaha.
Took us 8 hours on a lift. That was also messing around with other things too though

Not really if you willing to turn it into a drag car. Most mustang owners are not willing to drive around in a gutted open header car. I’m sure there is another 150 pounds in a/c, dash, radio, airbags, carpet etc.
